Water Pumps
Well pumps provide the means to deliver water from your water source right to your home. Hawkins Well and Pump services and installs pumps for all types of water systems.
Submersible Pumps: Deep wells use submersible pumps that are installed down in the well and pump water up from the bottom. These pumps generally provide water pressure to a storage tank running between 40 to 60 psi. If you have a deep well and would like a more consistent water flow, we can also install constant pressure pumps that run at a continuous pressure setting. These systems have a slow start capacity and do not need a larger pressure tank to provide water to the home.
Jet Pumps: Shallow wells use a jet-style pump that delivers water to the home or property by pulling water from your well. These pumps generally provide water pressure to a storage tank running between 30 to 50 psi. These pumps can only draw from shallower well setups and are usually found in your basement or a pump house.
Booster Pumps: If you are on town water but are not happy with the pressure, booster pumps provide extra pressure to a private or even a publicly-supplied water source. Booster pumps can take town water that may only be running at 30 psi or lower, and boost the pressure to 60 psi.
Sump Pumps: If you have a basement that is prone to flooding, you might already have a sump pump. These pumps are used to keep basements dry and can be installed just below the level of the floor. Heavy rains can soak the ground and water can enter the basement through cracks in the foundation or through the floor. A drain from the sump pump can be directed away from the foundation and your home.
Irrigation Pumps: If you have an irrigation system that operates independently from town water, the water is most likely supplied by a well, a point or a body of water. We can help determine the right pump and water delivery for your system.
